Amidst the ongoing migration crisis, German women tragically find themselves caught in the crosshairs, as migrant men, especially those of Muslim background, perceive them as acceptable targets.
Germany is grappling with an alarming crisis, as the number of sexual assaults against women and young girls in swimming pool facilities across the country continues to rise. These reprehensible acts, predominantly committed by male migrants with an Islamic background, have cast a dark shadow over German cities, most notably Cologne, Düsseldorf, and Berlin. What were once serene sanctuaries for families have now transformed into breeding grounds for unspeakable sexual violence, instilling terror and desperation in women and parents who are desperate for a solution.
Disturbing Pattern
The distressing pattern persists, and the most recent incident unfolded at a swimming pool in Moenchengladbach, where a group of young Muslim migrants harassed and molested a group of girls. In response, the authorities banned the migrants from entering the premises. Three teenagers and two young adults are currently under investigation, as the victims recounted being repeatedly pushed and touched underwater by the alleged perpetrators during their swim. Among the suspects, five originate from Afghanistan, while one hails from Romania. After providing their statements, the girls were entrusted to their guardians’ care while the suspects were identified and faced legal procedures.
In the wake of this distressing event, the swimming pool has taken decisive measures, prohibiting the entry of these young men. The investigations into the incident remain ongoing.
Merely weeks ago, during the Pentecost weekend in Stuttgart, another distressing incident unfolded, adding to the long list of sexual attacks. A 23-year-old Muslim Syrian migrant was apprehended for groping multiple women at an outdoor swimming pool.
The gravity of the issue becomes even more apparent when you examine the full extent of the assaults. Seven women, aged between 12 and 18, fell victim to sexual assault in three separate incidents at the swimming pool. As a result, three men, including the aforementioned 23-year-old Syrian migrant, were taken into custody.
The first incident occurred on a Sunday afternoon on May 28., around 4:45 p.m. Two 18-year-old women were enjoying their time in the family pool when two young men swam past them. Shockingly, a 13-year-old and another unidentified individual groped the women’s buttocks underwater.
Promptly responding to the situation, the police arrested the 13-year-old male, who was later released to his mother without charges pressed against him.
Unfortunately, the distress did not end there. Later that same day, two men aged 22 and 23 approached a 12-year-old girl and subjected her to unwanted touching. Both men were apprehended, with the public prosecutor’s office identifying the 23-year-old as a Syrian migrant who has been formally charged in connection with the incident, as reported by Bild newspaper.
The following day, on Monday, four men aged between 20 and 30 targeted four girls, aged 13, 14, and 15, by groping them. One suspect, a 29-year-old, was arrested, but the judge subsequently released him.
It remains unclear if the remaining suspects have a migration background, as Germany does not disclose the ethnicity or migration status of individuals with German citizenship.
A Troubling History
The history of sexual assaults in German swimming pools traces back to 2016 when a town near Cologne banned all migrant men from entering public pools due to repeated cases of sexual harassment. The ban aimed to influence the behavior of asylum seekers, emphasizing the severity of the issue. In the same year, a leaked police report revealed an alarming increase in migrant sexual assaults at swimming pools in Düsseldorf. Such incidents persist, with reports of three 12-year-old girls being sexually assaulted by a group of older teenagers in a Bavarian public swimming pool.
RAIR Foundation USA has compiled a series of videos showcasing incidents over the years. Some of these videos, originally in German, have been subtitled in English, highlighting numerous instances of sexual attacks perpetrated by migrants against German women in public swimming pools.

“Sexual emergencies” in German pools:
Authorities Under Pressure
The mounting pressure on German authorities to address these atrocities is undeniable. The Federal Association of German Swimming Champions (BDS) expressed alarm over the violence witnessed in outdoor swimming pools and cautioned against families visiting such facilities on weekends. The association’s president, Peter Harzheim, emphasized the dire state of affairs, stating that he could no longer recommend such visits to his grandchildren. These concerns have prompted Berlin bath operators to promise increased deployment of security personnel.
The German swimming association head has issued a stark warning, advising families with children to avoid visiting outdoor pools due to the escalating violence and sexual attacks. Once peaceful havens for families and children of all ages, public pools in Germany have sadly witnessed a surge in incidents. The Stuttgart police station has assigned a clerk to handle these cases while exploring the possibility of implementing specific police measures in consultation with the swimming establishments.
Authorities must acknowledge the gravity of the problem and take immediate steps to enhance security measures in swimming pool facilities. Furthermore, improving the transparency and accuracy of crime reporting is essential. Concealing or downplaying the ethnic or migrant backgrounds of the perpetrators does a disservice to the victims and hampers efforts to address the issue effectively. Open and honest reporting is crucial for understanding the extent of the problem, identifying trends, and developing targeted solutions.
Addressing the Issue: Integration Classes and Misguided Beliefs
Instead of implementing a ban on migrants who hold discriminatory views towards women, most left-wing politicians have proposed integration classes as a solution. These classes aim to address the gaps in understanding and promote cultural sensitivity, consent, and gender equality among migrants. Although these programs have been attempted in the past, they have failed at achieving the desired outcomes.
There is a concerning belief among German politicians that educating men on “equality” will alter their mindset, despite having been taught since childhood that it is women’s responsibility not to arouse them. This distorted notion places blame on women if men feel compelled to commit acts of rape. It is unsurprising that men from the Middle East and North Africa hold vastly different views of women compared to German men. The puzzling aspect is why German politicians expect every person who enters the country to instantaneously adopt our values, perspectives on women, and traditions.
The behavior exhibited by Afghan and many Middle Eastern Muslim migrants, while unacceptable in Germany, aligns with the norms of their home countries. Consequently, expecting them to conform to our rules is entirely alien to them. To effectively address the issue of Afghan individuals molesting German girls, a firm approach is necessary. Merely providing classes on equality and women’s treatment is futile. Instead, a warning should be issued for the first offense, followed by immediate deportation from Germany for repeat offenses.
German politicians find themselves dumbfounded as they finally begin to grasp that many Afghan, Somali, Iraqi, and Syrian men—currently the largest immigrant groups in Germany—consider women dressed in revealing clothing as fair game. The disparity in attitudes towards nudity between Scandinavia and the Middle East is significant. Germany boasts numerous nude beaches, where men and women freely swim together without clothing, and incidents of sexual harassment are virtually nonexistent. In gender-segregated changing rooms at public pools, there is no hesitance or discomfort. In fact, it used to be expected for vigilant attendants to monitor patrons’ showering habits a few decades ago.
The Cultural Divide: Attitudes Towards Nudity and Perception
Contrastingly, in Muslim countries, nudity is a highly private matter, and individuals do not willingly shower with others, even of the same sex. Public pool staff members who had been interviewed confirm that Muslim men and women shower with their underwear on and continue to wear it beneath their swimwear. Many Muslim women opt for burkinis, which cover their entire bodies. Therefore, when Muslim men encounter German women in bikinis, some perceive them as “easy” targets for groping.
Regrettably, an increasing number of Germans are choosing to avoid public pools altogether, driven by the fear of jeopardizing their safety and encountering sexual attacks perpetrated by migrants.
