Whistleblower: Debate was Rigged, ABC News Gave Harris the Questions and Conspired Against Trump

Since ABC News hosted the second presidential debate on September 10, concerns about the neutrality of the moderators have emerged from conservative circles. Shortly after the debate, reports began circulating about an alleged whistleblower at the network, who claimed that the event was manipulated to favor Kamala Harris. In response, liberal media outlets quickly denied the allegations and put “fact-checkers” to work to discredit the story. However, new reports from the right claim that the whistleblower is now taking official steps to expose the alleged compromise in the debate.

In her post on X (formerly known as Twitter), Laura Loomer tagged ABC News, Disney, Kamala Harris, and the two debate moderators—David Muir and Linsey Davis. She also directed the message to Donald Trump’s campaign, drawing further attention to the claims.

The mainstream media has largely ignored this development in what some are calling the ABC debate scandal. On Monday, September 23, CBS affiliate KHOU11 reiterated the left’s stance, denying the existence of any credible whistleblower and questioning the authenticity of an affidavit shared earlier by conservatives, which included redacted details of the whistleblower. The story stated:

“There’s no evidence to support claims that an alleged ABC News whistleblower exists or that the affidavit they are said to have written is authentic.”

However, KHOU11 did not mention Loomer’s post, which included scans of the official complaints reportedly filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Meanwhile, Loomer’s post has gained significant traction, with over 2 million views, and India’s Hindustan Times also reported on it over the weekend.

On left-leaning social media platforms, discussions about the alleged whistleblower are reportedly being suppressed or censored. On September 20, Chronicles Magazine published an article discussing the whistleblower, which concluded:

“Until ABC News answers these concerns directly and transparently, it should be treated as a colluding political operative. The debate shenanigans were a deception intended to tilt the election in favor of its preferred candidate.”

The magazine’s admin added in the comments that their article was “currently being blocked on Facebook for a bogus rule violation.”

On Friday, September 20, Laura Loomer—a MAGA supporter, investigative journalist, and podcaster—announced on X that the anonymous whistleblower from ABC had provided her with a copy of the official complaint filed with the SEC. Screenshots of the two complaint documents were shared by Loomer, stating:

“The complaint, seen below, states that ABC News and their Parent company Disney colluded with the @KamalaHarris Presidential Campaign to influence the Presidential debate on 9-10-24 and to further influence the outcome of the 2024 Presidential Election.”

The whistleblower also clarified in the complaint that they are not a supporter of Donald Trump, stating:

“…I am not a Donald Trump supporter and have never voted for Donald Trump.”

The full statement of the whistleblower’s complaint is available in Loomer’s post on X, which continues to draw widespread attention despite the lack of mainstream media coverage.
