Zuckerberg Admits to Censorship Under Biden Pressure

STOP THE PRESSES! This is a major revelation.

Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg has made a significant admission. Despite years of denials from him, the Biden White House, and nearly every Democrat, Zuckerberg now acknowledges that the White House pressured him and his team to censor factually accurate information that was unfavorable to the Biden administration, and he complied with their demands.

Two prominent examples involve information related to the Covid pandemic and the infamous Hunter Biden laptop.

Regarding Covid, Facebook restricted content to align with the White House’s perspective (specifically, Dr. Anthony Fauci’s views) on contentious issues, such as the benefits of masking in different situations and policies on school and business closures.

As for the Hunter Biden laptop, Facebook—under pressure from the White House—censored accurate information, promoting the narrative that the laptop was not Hunter’s but a Russian hoax. This censorship was particularly egregious as it may have influenced the outcome of a closely contested election.

The censorship demands extended beyond informational content to include humor and satire deemed offensive by the White House. Zuckerberg’s platform went so far as to ban stories about the laptop from major newspapers.

Zuckerberg’s admission is not just surprising; it is shocking. It confirms what Trump, Republicans, and many media outlets had asserted—truths that only emerged later.

Zuckerberg’s startling admission came in a letter to the House Judiciary Committee, led by Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan. In it, Zuckerberg mentioned “repeated demands” by the White House and noted that Biden officials often reacted angrily when he denied what he saw as excessive requests.

In hindsight, Zuckerberg now views all of the White House’s requests and demands as excessive. He apologized for not rejecting those requests at the time and for failing to inform the public about the pressure from the White House. He vowed not to allow such influence in the future.

When allegations of improper censorship by the Biden administration emerged, former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki defended these actions as efforts to protect the public from disinformation.

The current White House has offered a similar defense in response to Zuckerberg’s letter, stating: “Our position has been clear and consistent: We believe tech companies and other private actors should consider the impact their actions have on the American people while making independent choices about the information they present.”

While the Biden administration’s stance may be consistent, it lacks clarity. It’s a vague platitude that fails to address the administration’s serious infringement on free speech.

The abuse of power surrounding the Hunter Biden laptop issue is particularly significant. The Biden White House fabricated a false narrative to shield the Biden family from the truth, aiming to sway the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.

The Biden team not only propagated a major falsehood but also pressured news services and social media platforms to restrict coverage to the false Russian hoax narrative, effectively censoring the truth. They even involved the FBI and the intelligence community in promoting the lie, despite knowing the reality. Secretary of State Antony Blinken orchestrated more than fifty current and former intelligence officials to sign a public letter supporting the falsehood.

Such actions should have, at the very least, led to the removal of Blinken and FBI Director Wray and the revocation of security clearances for many of the letter’s signatories. This blatant misuse of presidential power and violation of the oath to defend the Constitution could have warranted an impeachment inquiry. However, none of that has occurred or is likely to happen given the current cultural and political climate.

Regardless, voters should not forget this incident. It’s especially important to remember that Vice President Harris played a key role in promoting what she likely knew to be disinformation. She was involved from the start.
