Why You Should Fear the Feds

At least 40 undercover local and federal law enforcement assets secretly infiltrated the election protest on January 6, court documents from the Justice Department’s case against Capitol defendant Dominic Pezzola reveal.

Pezzola, a member of the Proud Boys, is currently incarcerated and is facing “seditious conspiracy” charges over his role in the January 6 protest.

Pezolla’s attorney Roger Roots on Wednesday filed a motion detailing the covert presence of numerous law enforcement assets or agents who were reportedly tasked with “conducting surveillance among” protestors, now turned-January 6 criminal defendants.

According to the court documents, the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), DC Metropolitan Police department (MPD), and the “principal investigative arm” of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), were “running” at least 40 undercover agents, informants, or confidential human sources during the riot.

The motion states that along with eight FBI confidential human sources, MPD deployed at least 13 plainclothes agents. HSI utilized 19 confidential human sources.

Video footage and private texts have reportedly shown MPD’s undercover assets instigating the crowd to storm the Capitol building.

“’At least 40 undercover FBI informants’ participated in J6 with Proud Boys but only 5 Proud Boys are being prosecuted?” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene tweeted in reaction to the motion.

“The FBI is not supposed to encourage or help people break the law, they should stop people from breaking the law”

The Georgia Republican then called upon Congress to take action against corrupt elements within the FBI.

“Congress must defund the corruption from the FBI. The weaponization of government can be stopped through the budget and appropriations,” she said.

One video from the election protest, which seems to be located at the Capitol building on January 6, purportedly shows a hooded officer wearing, a mask and goggles, discussing plans to enter the protesting crowd disguised as a far-left agitator.

“When we go undercover as antifa in the crowd, so…can you put that back in?” the masked officer asks a visually distressed uniformed officer, who then places the water bottle in his bag.

Federal officials and Washington politicians who supported the January 6 Committee’s “insurrection” narrative had previously claimed that the government was entirely unaware that the protest would turn chaotic, hailing the lack of law enforcement preparedness as one of the worst “intelligence failures” in history.
