Biden Puts Americans Last After Ignoring Palestine, Ohio

A tragedy has struck this nation, and like many tragedies before, Biden and his administration have spared no sympathy.

Small towns have small problems as far as the media is concerned, but small towns are a big part of what this nation represents.

This devastating event has left many Americans questioning when our President is going to step up for the little guy – or will a solution have to be found beyond the Oval Office?

The New York Times reports:

“On Feb. 3, a train carrying toxic chemicals derailed in eastern Ohio, igniting a fire that covered the town of East Palestine in smoke. Fearful of an explosion, the authorities carved out an evacuation zone and carried out a controlled release of toxic fumes to neutralize burning cargo inside some of the train cars.”

Large fires have their place in our ecosystem, but they can bring death and destruction to those nearby.

Not only can the flames bring all that you love to ashes, but the smoke and fumes from burning chemicals are toxic.

The small village of Palestine, Ohio has about 4,700 residents and resides 50 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.

A train consisting of 150 cars was making its way from Madison, Illinois, to Conway, Pennsylvania, when 38 cars derailed, reports The National Transportation Safety Board.

The train happened to be carrying chemicals and combustible materials, so when the cars derailed, they went up in flames almost instantly.

Governor Mike DeWine of Ohio ordered an evacuation and went public with concerns about a possible explosion.

In a desperate attempt to rid the town of the toxic chemicals, authorities released the toxic material into a trench and burned it.

How did such an accident occur?

An initial report from the N.T.S.B. said an alert had come in concerning a hot axle just before the derailment – but further investigation has revealed a much more sinister cause.

The agency’s chairwoman, Jennifer L. Homendy, said in a statement:

This was 100 percent preventable.”

The Guardian reports:

In leaked audio heard by the Guardian, a manager for one of the US’s largest rail companies can be heard explaining to a former carman that they should stop tagging railcars for broken bearings. The manager says doing so delays other cargo.”

A final report has not been released concluding the events of the derailment, and the lingering effects of the crash continue to be cause for concern.

Not only are dozens of families still living in hotels since being evacuated, but they are suffering from health problems such as headaches, coughing, and rashes, according to The New York Times.

The chemicals spilled are known to cause cancer and other hormonal and reproductive system damages.

Pete Buttigieg, US Transportation Secretary, visited East Palestine in person and promised support.

…but he was the only one.

While those struggling from the effects of the derailment looked for help, Biden was in Ukraine shaking hands and smiling for the camera, as Fox News reveals.

America is in need of a strong leader and someone who puts their love of this nation first.

That person is not Biden, who tweeted as Palestine residents suffered:

Kyiv has captured a part of my heart. I knew I would be back.”

However, you know who did go to Palestine, Ohio, to offer support and hand out supplies?

Former president Donald Trump.

Actions speak louder than words, and taking a flight out of dodge while a crisis ensues on national terrain speaks volumes.

The EPA has been working on a plan to clean up the area of the chemical spill and create a safe environment for the residents, but it will take time.

Meanwhile, those whose health has been affected by the release of chemicals have a class-action lawsuit in the works.

When government agencies are held accountable for what is considered to be a preventable tragedy, you can bet we will see Biden and his administration in the limelight covering their tail.

There may be some justice yet.
