Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell was reportedly hospitalized on Wednesday night after falling at the former Trump Hotel in Washington D.C., now called the Waldorf Astoria, reports claim.
His spokesman Doug Andres had this to say…

@LeaderMcConnell has been hospitalized following a fall at a DC hotel. Per a McConnell spokesman: “This evening, Leader McConnell tripped at a local hotel during a private dinner. He has been admitted to the hospital where he is receiving treatment.”…/2 The 81-year old McConnell was at an event at the Waldorf Astoria DC when he fell, according to our sources. We have no further information on the extent of McConnell’s injuries or his prognosis
CNN reported that McConnell also fell back at his home in Kentucky in 2019. That report reads…
“This morning, Leader McConnell tripped at home on his outside patio and suffered a fractured shoulder,” David Popp, McConnell’s communications director, said in a statement. “He has been treated, released, and is working from home in Louisville.”

Is McConnell fit to serve in such a powerful position in Washington D.C.? If he has problems walking and moving around, the job may be too strenuous for him at this age.

That picture is from 2020. Three years later, and McConnell’s health surely isn’t any better. We have a serious problem in this country with elderly people not relinquishing their power before they have deteriorated mentally, physically, or both.
